S&S Home Finishes LLC is a family-run finishing contractor in Bad Axe, Michigan. This page explains what happens to the details you send us through this website. It is written in plain English on purpose.

The estimate form

If you ask for an estimate, we keep what you type: your name, email address, phone number, the service you picked, and your message. We also keep the time you sent it, the page you sent it from, and an approximate location — country, and usually region and city — worked out from your internet connection by Cloudflare, the company that serves this website. That location is not your street address, and it is often only accurate to the nearest large town.

We use it for one thing: to get back to you about the work. We do not sell it, we do not share it with anyone outside the business, and we do not add you to a mailing list.

Where it is kept

Estimate requests are stored by the form service Sand Point Studios runs for us on Cloudflare, and they open a job in our internal system so nothing gets lost. To stop automated abuse, the service keeps a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address rather than the address itself.

Getting your details removed

Email info@sshomefinishes.com from the address you used, or call (989) 553-1335, and we will delete what we hold. You can also ask us what we have.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies, and there are no advertising scripts on it. Cloudflare keeps standard server logs to keep the site running and secure.

Changes

If this changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
