Commercial stalls, ADA-accessible spaces, fire lanes, directional arrows, curb markings, and custom layouts. Fresh paint on new lots or full restripes on faded ones. We've done churches, hospitals, schools, and offices across the Thumb.
Houses, garages, storefronts, church facades, and commercial buildings. Weather-appropriate prep, quality primer, and finish coats that hold up to Michigan winters.
Walls, ceilings, trim, and doors. Meticulous prep, clean lines, and the patience to do it right. Works great on residential and commercial alike.
Hanging, taping, mudding, texturing, and patching. From settled-foundation cracks to water damage to brand new walls.
Baseboards, casing, crown, chair rails, and doors. Precision cuts, tight miters, and clean caulk lines. We think trim carpentry is underrated.

About us
We started back in 2014 as Stier & Son Painting out of Bad Axe, Michigan. Over the years the work has grown well beyond the brush — drywall, trim, cabinets, staining, and commercial line striping are all on the truck now. The name changed to S&S Home Finishes to match what we actually do, but the approach hasn't: show up, work clean, and do it like it's our own place.
Dusty leads the crew. Jared has been with us for over a year and has the steady hands you want on trim day. Andrick is the newest — welcome to the team, and to the American work force. We're a small outfit on purpose, and it means every job gets personal attention.
Most weeks you'll find us somewhere in the Thumb — Bad Axe, Port Austin, Caseville, Pigeon, Cass City, Sebewaing, Ubly, Harbor Beach. For the right job — commercial or residential — we'll drive across the state. We've hit jobs as far as Menominee in the U.P. and Indian River up north, and we're not scared of a long day on the road.
